CHINA WINDOW FOUNDER VISITS CHINA STUDY CENTRE, UNIVERSITY OF PESHAWAR

Peshawar, August 04, 2025 – Malik Amjad Aziz, the esteemed founder of China Window, paid a courtesy visit to the China Study Centre, University of Peshawar, to meet with the newly appointed Director, Dr. Noor Sanauddin. The meeting aimed to explore potential areas of collaboration and strengthen ties between the two organisations.

During the meeting, Malik Amjad Aziz extended his warm congratulations to Dr. Noor Sanauddin on his appointment and expressed his optimism about the Centre’s future endeavors under his leadership. He acknowledged the China Study Centre’s significant contributions to promoting Chinese language and culture in Pakistan and hoped that the Centre would continue to thrive under Dr. Sanauddin’s guidance.

Both Malik Amjad Aziz and Dr. Noor Sanauddin agreed to collaborate on joint events and initiatives that would further enhance Pakistan’s growing engagement with China. A joint seminar on “Pakistan-China Relationship and its Implications for the Rest of the World” was planned for the last week of August, which would provide a platform for experts to deliberate on the significance of this bilateral relationship.

Dr. Noor Sanauddin briefed Malik Amjad Aziz on the China Study Centre’s new academic programs, including the Chinese Language Certificate and Diploma in Sinology. Malik Amjad Aziz appreciated these initiatives and acknowledged their potential to promote a deeper understanding of the Chinese language and culture in Pakistan.

The China Study Centre’s “Chinese Cultural Wall” initiative, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of China, was also appreciated by Malik Amjad Aziz. This initiative reflects the Centre’s commitment to promoting cross-cultural understanding and exchange between Pakistan and China.

Mr. Akhtar Amin, an active member of the Pakistan-China Friendship Association and a University of Peshawar officer, was also present during the meeting. His presence underscored the importance of collaboration and partnership in fostering stronger ties between Pakistan and China.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with both parties expressing their commitment to working together to promote Pakistan-China relations and advance China Studies in Pakistan.
