China-Pakistan Study Centre, Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad has organized an International Conference on ‘Belt and Road Initiative in the Changing Regional Dynamics’ on November 20-21, 2019 at Institute of Strategic Studies Islamabad. It begin with the introductory remarks by Dr. Talat Shabbir, Director CPSC. Ambassador Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry Director General, ISSI delivered welcome address. It was followed by Mr Wang Bin, Vice President of Power China (TBD）speech. H.E Yao Jing, Ambassador, People’s Republic delivered keynote address and said that Pakistan and China Relations has further strengthened after the BRI and CPEC. H.E. Shah Mahmood Qureshi was the Chief Guest and in his speech he discussed in details the strengthening of Pakistan and China Relations in the changing regional politics dynamics. Dr Zahid Anwar delivered his paper on, “ BRI, CPEC & Pakistan and China Shared Future” in which said that BRI is a voyage of economic, social, political and cultural understanding and that BRI is pooling of collective resources for shared future of mankind.Under BRI and CPEC people to people contacts are increasing and will open up new avenues for better social and cultural understanding. He underlined that without an iota of doubt such constructive collaboration in higher education and other fields will provide a conducive environment to the young people to promote their career and galvanize trust and understandings between China and Pakistan.
