Chinese delegate from Lanzhou University China visited China Study Center University of Peshawar on July 29, 2022. Prof Dr Zahid Anwar Pro Vice Chancellor and Director China Study Center University of Peshawar held a meeting with Mr. Wuren Li and Mr. Meishi Li from Lanzhou University China at the China Study Center, UoP.
Prof Dr Zahid Anwar welcomed the guests to China Study Center, UoP and stated that University of Peshawar is the most established University in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. He further stated that China Study Center, UoP has collaboration in different fields with many Chinese Universities and the Center at the University of Peshawar welcome collaboration with LZU.
Mr. Wuren Li stated that Lanzhou University has signed a MoU with University of Peshawar for in the field of physics, climate and atmosphere. And in this connection high-tech instruments are recently installed in University of Peshawar and also a key laboratory of “Atmosphere and Environment” are established at University of Peshawar which will help in atmospheric measurement and research. Chinese delegates hoped for more research collaboration between Lanzhou University China and University of Peshawar under the MoU.
Prof Dr Zahid Anwar reiterated that under CPEC the two Universities can strengthen their cooperation in higher education. He also thanked Dr. Khan Alam (Associate Professor Department of Physics) for facilitating the Chinese delegates visit to the China Study Center at University of Peshawar.
