A field visit was organized to Rashakai Special Economic Zone, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan headed by Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Director China Study Center, University of Peshawar, and Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani Secretary-General Pakistan China Friendship Association KP, (PCFA).
The CEO, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development And Management Company (KPEZDMC) Mr. Javed Iqbal Khattak welcomed the delegation at Rashakai Special Economic Zone, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Mr. Javed Khattak briefed about the progress and development of the Rashakai Special Economic Zone.
He said that the total area of the Rashakai Special Economic Zone is 1000 acres. And it will create more than two lac job opportunities for the local people.
Ms Sophia a Chinese expert and Mr Adil Salahuddin gave very informative presentations on the current development in Rashakai Special Economic Zone.
Prof. Dr. Zahid Anwar, Pro Vice Chancellor, and Director China Study Center, University of Peshawar, thanked Mr. Javed Iqbal Khattak CEO, KPEZDMC, and his entire team for the warm welcome.
He said that CPEC has brought a lot of opportunities for Pakistan as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is developing under different CPEC projects.
Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani Secretary-General Pakistan China Friendship Association KP, (PCFA) said that Chinese Enterprises will come to Rashakai Special Economic Zone and they will invest here, due to which the technology transfer will occur, and Pakistan enterprises will also learn from Chinese expertise.
The visit was followed by the cake-cutting ceremony to celebrate the Chinese Spring Festival and Chinese Lantern Festival.
